Articles of Faith 
                  
                    - We believe in one true and living God, the  Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.  These  three are one.  Deut. 6:4, 1 John 5:7
 
                    - We believe the scripture of the Old and New  Testaments are of divine authority and the only rule of faith and practice.  II Timothy 3:16, Romans 15:4 and II Peter  1:20
 
                    - We believe in the doctrine of original sin and  that all of Adam’s posterity are sinners by nature. Romans 3:9-23, Romans 5:12, Eph. 2:1-2 
 
                    - We believe in the personal and unconditional  election as taught by the scriptures.   Eph. 1:4 I Peter 1:2 and Romans 9:11
 
                    - We believe that sinners are justified in the  sight of God only by the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ.  Romans 4:8-25 and Titus 3:5-6
 
                    - We believe that a knowledge of salvation is  manifested to the heirs of promise by direct operation of the Holy Ghost in  their hearts.  Romans 15:21, I John 2:27  and Hebrews 8:10-11
 
                    - We believe the saints are kept by the power of  God and never fall finally away.  I Peter  1:2-5, Jude 1 and Philippians 1:6
 
                    - We believe baptism by immersion, the Lord’s  Supper and washing of the saints feet are ordinances of Jesus Christ and should  be practiced in a church capacity.  Mat  26:26-30, John 13: 4-17 and Romans 6:4-5
 
                    - We believe in the resurrection of the just and  the unjust, the just to eternal life, the unjust to shame and everlasting  contempt.  Daniel 12:2 and  John 5:28-29
 
                    - We believe the Joys of the righteous and the  punishment of the wicked will be eternal.   Matt 25:26 , II Thess. 1:9-10 and II Peter 2:9
 
                    - We believe that only ministers who have been  baptized and come under the imposition of a presbytery of the Church of Jesus  Christ has the right to administer the ordinance of baptism. Acts 6:5-6 and  Acts 8 :38-39
 
                    - We believe only baptized believers have a right  to commune at the Lord’s table. II Cor. 6:14-17 and  John 6:54
 
                    - We believe it to be disorderly for a member of  the church to unite with any secret institution of the day.  I Cor. 10:21, II Cor. 6:14-17, Eph. 5:11 and  II Tim. 2:4
